Therapy that meets you with steadiness, understanding, and practical support.
I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) and a Doctoral candidate at the University of Kentucky, where I will complete my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) in 2026. My path into the mental health field has been shaped by years of hands-on experience, both in education and in crisis response.
Before becoming a therapist, I earned my master’s degree in social work from UK, along with a post-graduate certificate in clinical social work. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in educational studies, which allowed me to work as a general education teacher supporting children with mild to significant needs, as well as a school social worker. These experiences taught me the importance of meeting people where they are—with patience, empathy, and practical strategies that truly help.
I also bring over a decade of first responder experience. I served as an EMT for 10 years and as a 9-1-1 dispatcher for 6 years. I’ve completed ICISF training and served as both a peer and mental health team member on CISM teams, supporting first responders during critical incidents and helping them debrief safely after crisis events.
These unique experiences continue to guide my work today—helping me stay grounded, steady, and fully present as I support individuals and families through the challenges of their lives.
Whether you’re seeking clarity, connection, or steady support through a challenging season, you don’t have to navigate it alone. When you’re ready, I’m here to walk with you—at your pace, with care and understanding.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as an EMT, 9-1-1 dispatcher, teacher, and school social worker. Those experiences taught me how to stay calm under pressure, listen with empathy, and support people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Now, I bring that same steady, compassionate presence into my therapy work. Whether I'm helping a child build emotional skills, supporting a teen through stress or identity questions, or guiding adults through difficult transitions, my goal is always the same: to create a grounded, judgment-free space where people feel understood, respected, and supported.
